Pre-Program Emotional Wellness Assessment

Measure the impact that the current problem has had on your life before using the WTW system.

What this check-in measures

You’ll rate 11 areas, all based on the problem you’re going through right now:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Inner confidence and self-esteem
  • Helplessness
  • How well you understand the problem
  • How well you understand how to resolve it
  • Emotional awareness
  • Empathy for the other person involved
  • How much of the problem has been resolved
  • Overall well-being and sense of empowerment
  • Physical wellness

How the scale works

Every question uses the same 1 to 10 scale. 1 is the best you could feel and 10 is the worst, so a lower score always means you’re doing better.

  • 1: None
  • 2 to 3: Mild
  • 4 to 5: Moderate
  • 6 to 7: Severe
  • 8 to 9: Very severe
  • 10: Worst possible

Tips for an honest starting point

  • Keep one specific problem in mind, the one you plan to work on with your letters.
  • Answer based on how you’ve felt recently, not just today.
  • Go with your first instinct. There are no right or wrong answers.
  • Use an email you check often. A copy of your answers is sent to it, and you’ll need it later to compare.

What happens next

  1. Submit the form. A copy of your answers arrives in your inbox.
  2. Use your Words to Wellness letters for this problem. The Client User Guide shows you how to choose and adapt a letter.
  3. Once you’ve used your letters, take the Post-Program Assessment and compare your scores.

We recommend taking this check-in before, and the follow-up after, each time you use the system. That way you can see exactly what changed.
